After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Bryant University, James Barbieri went on to attend the University of Houston Police Academy. He completed his police training as a distinguished graduate, holding the highest academic average in his graduating class. He was then hired as a law enforcement officer in Houston, Texas.
In 1986, Mr. Barbieri obtained a private investigation and insurance adjusters license, and has worked in the claims industry ever since. Backed by extensive experience in SIU fraud investigations, Mr. Barbieri is now a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) He is member of the International Association of Special Investigation Units, a renowned insurance fraud association. Mr. Barbieri also specializes in handling commercial trucking claims.

Miss Barbieri is experienced specializing in corporate investigations, insurance fraud, and legal matters. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, she has earned a reputation for uncovering truths others might miss. Her discreet, professional approach ensures that each client receives tailored, confidential service.
LUIS DECHOUDENS

Mr. Dechoudens is a multi-line adjuster in Georgia and has been working for claims advantage for the past 10 years. He is currently in the process of obtaining an associates in claims at the Insurance Institute of America.
DIGNA BARBIERI
Office Manager and Accountant
Digna Barbieri manages the administrative and accounting operations of Claims Advantage. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, graduating magna cum laude, and brings strong organizational, financial, and client-service skills to the company.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Barbieri also provides Spanish-language interpretation and communication assistance for interviews, statements, and other client needs. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and bilingual abilities help ensure efficient operations and clear communication with Spanish-speaking individuals.
ANTHONY CERRITO
Claims Manager
Mr. Cerrito heads up our Georgia Investigations and carries an extensive professional portfolio. He has over 30 years of field experience, encompassing field surveillance, special investigations, and executive protection. He holds certification in both counter-terrorism and hijack crisis prevention. He has also undergone extensive martial arts training throughout his career.
JEFFREY ARTIKES
Senior SIU Investigator
Jeffrey Artikes serves as a Senior SIU Investigator with Claims Advantage, Inc. He is a retired Middletown Police Sergeant with 24 years of law enforcement service. Following his retirement from the police department, Jeffrey worked for 21 years as a Senior SIU Investigator with Amica Mutual Insurance Company.
Jeffrey brings more than four decades of combined law enforcement and insurance investigative experience to Claims Advantage. He conducts comprehensive investigations involving questionable insurance claims, including claimant and witness interviews, recorded statements, scene investigations, background research, evidence documentation, and other investigative assignments.
He approaches each investigation with professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to obtaining clear, accurate, and objective information. Jeffrey works closely with insurance carriers, claims professionals, special investigation units, and legal representatives to identify inconsistencies, document relevant facts, and provide timely investigative findings.
His extensive investigative background and practical approach allow him to handle complex assignments while maintaining the discretion, integrity, and professionalism expected by Claims Advantage clients.
